AR reaches out to Aibol Joupi locals

Imphal, May 18 2025:
The Assam Rifles organised a community outreach event "A Day with the Company Commander" at Aibol Joupi village on Saturday drawing participation from 113 villagers.
According to a PRO IGAR (S) press release, the event commenced with a career counselling session, during which the Company commander addressed local youth, providing insights into various career opportunities and encouraging them to pursue their goals with determination and discipline.
Children of the village participated m a drawing competition, enthusiastically showcasing their artistic abilities and creative expression.
A major highlight of the day was a friendly volleyball match between Assam Rifles personnel and local youth with the latter emerging victorious in the closely contested game, earning praise from the Company commander, who presented them with tokens of appreciation.
A physical endurance challenge followed, giving young participants the chance to assess their fitness levels against military standards.
In a parallel effort to promote environmental sustainability, a tree plantation drive was also conducted.
