Miss Shirui pageant winners call on Governor

Imphal, July 16 2025: The Organising Committee of the Miss Shirui Lily Festival 2025, including the winner and first runner-up, called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, here, on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Committee members apprised the Governor on the success-ful conduct of the Shirui Lily Festival 2025, which witnessed passionate participation from across the state and beyond.

They highlighted the growing interest in the unique cultural and ecological heritage of Ukhrul, a release by PRO Raj Bhavan said.

The release also stated that the Governor praised the efforts of the organisers and underscored the need to balance ecological preservation with responsible tourism.

He assured his support for initiatives that promote conservation, sustainable development, and community welfare.
