One-day career counselling program inspires Moirang's youth

Moirang, August 17 2025: A vibrant and impactful one-day career counselling program was held today at Citizen's Club Moirang.

The initiative was jointly organised by the Citizens' Club Moirang and M Prithviraj Singh, former MLA of Moirang Assembly Constituency.

The program featured an inspiring panel of guest speakers and career experts, including Pukhram Shankar Singh, Addl SP Imphal East; Thiyam Satyabrata, Certified Career & Guidance Counselor; Monika Khuraijam, a British Council Certified IELTS Trainer; along with other domain experts and facilitators.

Drawing enthusiastic participation from over 170 students of Classes 10 and 11, representing LCM High School, St Xavier's School, Hill-Valley School, and several other institutions across Moirang, the sessions focused on i) exploring diverse career pathways across disciplines ii) understanding evolving industry trends and futureready skills iii) engaging in IQ assessments and interactive feedback exercises and iv) equipping students with tools for informed decisionmaking and personal growth.

The five-hour program was marked by lively participation, thoughtful questions, and an eagerness to learn.

Students responded with enthusiasm, making the event not only informative but also deeply engaging.

Given the overwhelmingly positive response, organisers have expressed plans to replicate similar counselling programs in other parts of the constituency, ensuring that more young minds are empowered to dream boldly and plan wisely.
