Ibobi points 'dictator' finger at BJP Govt

Former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has accused the BJP Government of imposing a dictatorial rule.
Today, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) carried out a candlelight rally under the banner "Vote chor, gaddi chhod' as part of AICC's campaign against alleged vote theft.
The rally taken out in the evening started from Congress Bhavan at BT Road and proceeded towards Kanglapat stretch.
The rally was participated by senior Congress leaders including Ibobi, MPCC president K Meghachandra and CWC member Gaikhangam among others.
Speaking to the media on the sideline, Ibobi stated that the rally was organized to protest the alleged inclusion of fake voters in the electoral lists by the BJP to influence election outcomes.
He said that similar rallies were also held at district and block levels.
The former Chief Minister accused the BJP of tyrannical rule and Constitutional violations, warning that democracy's future hangs in the balance under their governance.
Ibobi also said that the Government has been working against the interest of Manipur people by imposing President's Rule in the State.
