Meritorious students of Khekman, Nambol honoured

The Khekman Prize Distribution Committee Khekman organised its 26th Prize Distribution ceremony to honour the meritorious students of Khekman area who have achieved good marks in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the CBSE, BOSEM and COHSEM.
The ceremony held at the residence of A Kumarjit in Khekman Wangmataba Mayai Leikai was attended by Thoubal College, Principal Dr Asem Nabachandra as chief guest, retd Headmaster Yumnam Gouro as president and Thoubal College, Geology Department Head Associate Professor Dr Wangjam Indrajit as guest of honour.
The event saw the felicitation of students from Class X and XII of seven villages of Khekman area who achieved outstanding results in the CBSE, BOSEM, and COHSEM board examinations.
Students who secured high percentages and those who secured letter marks in different subjects were presented with certificates and cash awards in recognition of their hard work.
Meanwhile, the Development and Protection United Voluntary Organisation (DPUVO) Nambol for the 13th time, organised a felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students of Nambol area who achieved outstanding results in the Class X and XII examinations, conducted by the BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE.
The felicitation ceremony held at Nambol Keithel Public Hall was attended by Nambol AC MLA, Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh as chief guest, and DPUVO advisors, Retd Addl Director Agriculture Department, Yumnam Nabakishor Singh, Ex-chairperson Nambol Municipal Council, Tekcham Ibochou Singh, Retd Principal Nambol L Sanoi College, Mongjam Ibohal Singh, Chairman Technical Committee Manipur Wetland Authority, Dr Khangembam Shamungou, President DPUVO Nambol, Taorem Khaba Khuman and award donor's of the felicitation ceremony as special guests.
During the ceremony, 106 meritorious students of Nambol area under the jurisdiction of DPUVO, including who have achieved outstanding marks in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE in the year 2023 2024 & 2025, poorest widow's children and students of Government Schools who achieved high marks were honoured with certificates and cash awards for their achievements.
