COCOMI expresses gratitude to public

The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has extended its gratitude to the people of Manipur for the 'overwhelming' support and participation in the Manipur People Convention on two Years of Manipur Crisis held yesterday at Khuman Lampak.
COCOMI, in a message, also thanked all local clubs, organisations, meira paibis, intellectuals, scholars, socio political commentators, civil society leaders and community representatives from various ethnic groups including Tangkhul, Mao, Kabui, Rongmei, Aimol, Kom and Meetei Pangal for their participation and constructive suggestions toward rebuilding peace and security in the region.
Further, the Committee conveyed its gratitude to the District Administration, Manipur Police, Traffic Police, YAS Department, Fire Services, Health Services, Red Cross Society, tent services and sound and technical support team for their support in ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the event.
COCOMI also extended its appreciation to the speakers who shared their insights and recommendations, contributing to the resolutions adopted during the convention.
Saying that they are also moved by the massive turnout at Kangla Nongpok Thong for the candlelight tribute, the Committee reassured that they will pursue the resolutions adopted during the convention.
COCOMI also said that they are determined to take all necessary steps to bring an end to the crisis and restore peace.
