Outfits salute slain PREPAK cadre

Various outfits, including Koireng-led UNLF, KCP, RPF, and KYKL, have condoled the death of PREPAK's Red Army cadre Nongthombam Malemnganba alias Thonglen (27).Malemnganba, s/o Late N Shyamkeshore Meitei and Nongallei of Awang Wabagai Mamang Leikai reportedly died in a gunfight at the Indo-Myanmar border on August 30 .
KCP mourns
The proscribed KCP claimed that a united front of Manipur revolutionary groups has been engaged in conflict with the KNA (B), allegedly supported by Indian security forces along Kangleipak-Manipur border.
On August 30, comrade Malemnganba sacrificed his life for the motherland, succumbing to bullet injuries after evacuating other cadres of Manipur revolutionary groups, including an officer of KCP's MFL, the outfit said, paying its respect to the slain cadre for his bravery in his final moments.
Stating that the death of Malemnganba is a big loss to their revolutionary movement, leaving an irreplaceable void, the outfit extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and PREPAK .
Koireng led UNLF pays homage
The Koireng-led UNLF and its armed wing the Manipur People's Army (MPA) also paid tribute to the Red Army cadre who succumbed to bullet injuries sustained during a gunfight, allegedly involving a combined team of Indian security forces, KNA (B), and its affiliated groups.
The Front stated that Malemnganba lost his life after evacuating an injured officer of another outfit and attempting to rescue other wounded cadres.
Stating that Malemnganba's bravery and dedication will forever be etched in the history of their struggle for Manipur's sovereignty, the Front reaffirmed its commitment to continue the fight until sovereignty is reclaimed.
Extending its condolence to the bereaved family, the Front prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
"Will inspire generations"
KYKL stated that Malemnganba displayed extraordinary bravery during the fight, refusing to leave behind injured comrades from other outfits.
The outfit stated that Malemnganba, though a recent recruit to the revolutionary movement, displayed exceptional expertise, bravery, and a sacrificial spirit and his actions demonstrated why he is a respected cadre.
His final words - 'If we live, we live together; if we die, we die together', will forever echo through the revolutionary movement," it said.
KYKL further stated that the bravery of Malemnganba, who laid down his life for the sake of his comrades and the motherland, will continue to inspire generations within the revolutionary movement.
His demise is not a loss for PREPAK alone, but for all revolutionary groups in Manipur, the outfit said, paying its tribute to the slain cadre.
KYKL also extended its condolences to the bereaved family and to PREPAK .
RPF condoles
The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) and its armed wing, the People's Liberation Army (PLA), also paid tribute to the slain PREPAK cadre.
The outfit extended its condolences and expressed solidarity with the grief of the bereaved family.
"Heroes sacrifice and no hero is greater than the one who gives their life for the country," it said.
