Army observes World Nature Conservation Day

In connection with observance of World Nature Conservation Day 2025, Indian army spearheaded a series of tree plantations and environmental awareness drives across Manipur, underlining a steadfast commitment to ecological preservation and sustainable development.
According to a release issued by PRO Defence, the events, conducted at Leimakhong Military Station, Emmanuel School.
Thamnapokpi, Moirangpurel High School, Imphal East, and Phoenix School, Vangoiphai in Churachandpur, united soldiers, civilians, and young people in a shared mission to safeguard nature.
More than 400 participants contributed to the planting of over 150 saplings.
