CRPF saves snakebite victim in Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, June 29 2025:
Personnel of 112 Battalion CRPF stationed in Kangpokpi district extended timely medical assistance to a person from Maohing village bitten by snake on Thursday.
The person, identified as Thanglenmang Guite (31), son of Paokhothang Guite, was bitten by a snake on his ankle.
Alarmed villagers immediately rushed him to the CRPF camp at Kangpokpi seeking emergency help.
Acting promptly, the CRPF medical team administered crucial first aid, including an anti-venom antiserum IP injection.
The patient was then safely transported to the District Hospital, Kangpokpi, accompanied by a unit nursing assistant for continuous monitoring.
Thanglenmang Guite s condition is reported to be stable and out of danger.
