Lamlai MLA inspects water supply projects

Imphal, July 17 2025: Lamlai MLA Kh Ibomcha on Thursday assessed progress of water supply projects being constructed in his assembly constituency, namely, Urban Water Supply Scheme at Lamlai and bore well drilling of Seijang Water Supply Scheme at Seijang Khurai Leima hill.

During the visit, he was accompanied by Telou Chana Seijang Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee chairperson Waikhom Dhananjoy, PHED, Imphal East EE Th Brojen, JE W Rishikesh, and AEs L Bishorjit and N Upen.

The officials informed the MLA that the bore well drilling work for the Seijang scheme will be completed by Friday.

The MLA also directed officials concerned to closely monitor the construction of Lamlai Urban Water Supply Scheme, which on completion will supply tap water to residents under Lamlai Municipal Council including Napet, Lamlai and Chalou.
