Imphal, July 28 2025: A one-day mental health awareness and counselling programme was held on Monday at Maharaj Bodhchandra College, Palace Compound.

The event was organised by National Mental Health Programme: Tele MANAS Manipur in collaboration with the Manipur University College Development Council, Ya All: The Youth Network, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of MB College.

District Hospital, Thoubal senior psychiatrist Dr K Robindro attended the programme as chief guest, while MB College principal Dr Bhabananda presided over the event.

State Tele MANAS Cell clinical psychologist Dr Karishma, and Ya All counsellor N Bidyalaxmi were also present at the event as guests of honour.

During the technical session, Dr Robindro, Dr Karishma, and N Bidyalaxmi served as resource persons and provided insights on mental health issues and ways to address related challenges.

The programme was attended by both teachers and students, and also featured an interactive session with the students.
