KISH condemns unauthorized statements on Sadar Hills

Kangpokpi, July 24 2025: The Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills (KISH) has issued a strong condemnation against certain individuals, intellectuals and civil society organisations (CSOs) outside of Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi district for issuing press statements and public opinions on matters exclusively related to Sadar Hills without proper authorization.

The Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills, in a press release issued today, expressed their firm rejection of such unsolicited interventions, stating that the affairs, concerns, and interests of Sadar Hills are being responsibly addressed by its own leadership in coordination with the relevant authorities.

"There is no necessity or justification for external parties to speak or act on our behalf' the statement asserted.

It further warned that such actions not only cause confusion and misrepresentation but also undermine the integrity and autonomy of Sadar Hills' leadership.

The statement called on individuals and organizations from outside the region to refrain from making any statements or interventions unless expressly authorized by the recognized leadership of Sadar Hills.
