Protest staged over delay in NEET merit list

Imphal, July 21 2025: NEET aspirants and guardians on Monday staged protest in front of the Directorate of Health office, Lamphel demanding declaration of NEET state merit list result.

Speaking in this regard, a guardian identified as Phijam Brojen pointed out that all India NEET examination was conducted on May 4 and the result declared on June 14 .

He said while other states have already released the merit list, Manipur is yet to do so.

The guardian further noted that the first round of counselling for candidates selected through the state merit lists is scheduled to take place nationwide from July 30 to August 5 .

It is unfortunate that Manipur's state merit list has not been announced till now, Brojen said.

He demanded authorities concerned for declaring the state merit list at the earliest.
