E Shakhi Memorial Meritorious Award presented

Kakching, May 18 2025: Student residents of Hiyanglam assembly constituency, who secured positions in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), 2025 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) and excelled in the Higher School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE), 2025 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM), were presented the Elangbam Shakhi Devi Memorial Meritorious Award by Lamyanba Enterprises proprietor Dr Amitkumar Elangbam along with cash prizes to four players who won bronze medal for India in the Sepak Takraw World Cup.

The 2nd Elangbam Shakhi Devi Memorial Meritorious Award distribution was jointly organised by Educational and Social Upliftment Committee, Hiyanglam and Lamyanba Enterprises at Ema Ayangleima community hall on Sunday.

The programme was attended by Kakching Zilla Parishad Administrative Committee adhyaksha Elangbam Surendrajit as chief guest and award donor Dr Amitkumar Elangbam as chief host among others.

During the function, HSE-2025 science 4th position holder Elangbam Yoihenba, son of E Tomnao and Manileima of Hiyanglam Terapishak; 15th position holder Rahul Elangbam, son of E Radheshyam and Renubala of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai; and 18th position holder Wahengbam Rahul Singh, son of W Manikumar and Ratini of Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai were presented cash prize of Rs 50,000 arid mementos each.

All are students of Imprint Science Academy, Changangei.

Cash prize of Rs 2000 each was also presented to four subject toppers of HSE, 2025; 22 who scored CGPA-9 and above in the HSLCE-2025 and the four Sepak Takraw players.
