BSF conducts health camp at Kendriya Vidyalaya

Under the guidance of BSF, Mizoram & Cachar Frontier IG Ravi Kant and supervision of SHQ CI (Ops) Manipur DIG, medical team from BSF Sector Headquarters CI (Ops) Imphal, Organised a medical check-up camp at Kendriya Vidyalaya, here, on Wednesday during which approximately 2000 students were screened.
According to PRO Frontier HQ BSF M&C, each student underwent checks for key health indicators including height, weight, and examinations of the eyes, ears, and throat.
The BSF doctors also screened for any signs of acute and chronic diseases to ensure early identification and promote timely medical intervention.
"Our goal is to ensure that every child is healthy and can pursue the education without the hindrance of medical issues.
By investing in the health of these young students, we are investing in the future of our country," said BSF Manipur chief medical officer Dr Pran Kumar Prem.
The school management expressed its gratitude to the BSF medical team for their proactive and benevolent service, The event was a resounding success, highlighting the positive impact of community outreach programs on public health, the PRO added.
