AR conducts "A day with coy commander"

Imphal, July 11 2025: In a step towards empowering local youth to become responsible citizens, Assam Rifles organised 'A Day with the Company Commander' for students at Sorde in Kamjong district.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event was organised to guide the local youth in skill development and employment opportunities while offering them a unique insight into the life and ethos of Assam Rifles.

Students were introduced to the values of confidence, discipline and unity, which are central to the Assam Rifles' tradition.

Senior officials delivered motivational speeches and provided valuable guidance, emphasising the importance of education, resilience and national service.

The day was met with enthusiasm as students engaged with troops in a series of recreational and interactive activities, expressing their appreciation for the experience.

The event left a lasting impression on the young participants, encouraging them to aspire to greater heights and contribute meaningfully to society, the PRO added.
