Imphal, August 06 2025: As part of the five-day Ipudhou Marjing Expo-2025 which commenced on Wednesday at Marjing Polo Tourism Complex at Heingang, a business summit attended by representatives of different financial institutions and entrepreneurs was held.

Punjab National Bank's lead district manager (LDM) Waikhom Birendra, State Bank of India LDM Dr Meit-ram Uttam Luwang, MSME, Government of India assistant director Manoj Sharma and social entrepreneur Kangbam Bijaya attended the business summit moderated by Imomacha Heisnam.

Discussion at the summit mainly dwelt on government schemes for development and expansion of businesses of entrepreneurs and financial opportunities from banks.

During the discussion, representatives of banks assured to provide financial support to entrepreneurs working in Chak-hao, Kouna crafts, etc., while MSME assured inclusion of one cluster for the state.

Additionally, social entrepreneur Kangbam Bijaya announced inclusion of products of the state in international online marketing and the opportunity to display and sell indigenous products of Manipur at stores opened in Delhi and NCR .
