Noney, July 25 2025: Assam Rifles mobilised its resources and provided potable water to the flood affected families of Taolingpung village through water tankers on Thursday.

People of Taolingpung village in Noney district had been facing serious hardships after the water supply to their village was disrupted due to the recent flash floods and landslides.

The heavy rains followed by landslides caused significant damage to the primary water pipeline network, leaving the residents without access to clean and safe drinking water.

The proactive response not only alleviated the immediate hardship faced by the villagers but also reinforced Assam Rifles' commitment to the well-being and support of the local population during times of crisis.
