Bishnupur, May 18 2025: BJP Bishnupur Mandal on Sunday organised a 'Thanga Yatra' under the theme 'Manipur Stands with Armed Forces in Operation Sindoor' along with a reception programme for 15 new members who joined BJP from JDU.

The programme held at Bishnupur Mandal conference hall, Ningthoukhong was attended by MLA Govindas Konthoujam, BJP Bishnupur Mandal president N Raghumani Singh and Manipur Pradesh general secretary A Sharatkumar Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

In his address, Govindas opined that the 15 former members of JDU joined the party believing in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maxim 'Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikash, Sab Ka Bishwas Aur Sab Ka Paryash'.

Claiming that Manipur has seen significant development under the BJP-led government, the MLA called upon all to strive for unity and give up selfish agenda.

Govindas also said that the march is to showcase party's endorsement of Operation Sindoor and stand in solidarity with the Indian security forces.
