Imphal, July 11 2025: Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang on Friday flagged off a delegation of Village Level Federations (VLF) under Kontha Khabam Gram Panchayat from Achanbigei Akham Leirak community hall, selected to attend one-day skill development programme conducted at Taothong under Lamsang assembly constituency.

The skill development programme, organised in collaboration with BDO, Heingang CD Block, was conducted to impart basic training to the VLF members regarding replacement of single use plastics with paper plates, cups and other biodegradable items.

In all, 57 trainees from five VLFs attended the tour, during which the Commission members and the trainees paid an industrial visit to Phouoibi Food Container Making Industries, Taothong and Khuman Eco Pvt Ltd, Canchipur.
