Imphal, July 03 2025: Manipur Ima, Kangleipak along with 32 like-minded organisations, lauded COCOMI, AMUCO, and FOCS for engaging in dialogue with the government in an effort to restore peace in the region.

In a release, Manipur Ima media co-ordinator S Shantikumar Meitei referred to statements given by representatives of the three civil society about the central government assuring to safeguard Manipur's integrity, ensure free movement along the national highways, start resettlement of IDPs to their homes with effect from October, and rebuild their damaged houses, apart from exerting pressure on the government during the recent meeting in New Delhi for implementation of NRC in the state.

While also commending the central government for such assurances, Shantikumar expressed hope that COCOMI, AMUCO and FOCS will continue to take decision and act for upholding the territorial integrity of Manipur and restoring communal harmony in the future dialogues with the government.
