Kakching, July 28 2025: The 59th foundation day of Kha Manipur College, Kakching was celebrated at college's multipurpose hall on Sunday.

The programme organised by College Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Foundation Day Celebration Committee was presided over by principal Dr Okram Rudrababu.

The event began with rituals at the first 'Jatra' (foundation base) of the college building, followed by observance of two-minute silence in respect of the departed founders of the college, teachers and martyrs who sacrificed for upholding the integrity of Manipur.

The principal also led teachers and students in taking a pledge to keep the college free from drugs, liquor, tobacco and single use plastic; cultivate culture of responsibility and respect; and nurture health and environment, so that the college campus has safe and sustainable environment.

A prize distribution programme for meritorious students and felicitation of college staffers was also held as a part of the celebration.
