AR provides life-saving medical aid to road accident victims in Kamjong

Reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the welfare of the community, Assam Rifles extended urgent medical assistance to two road accident victims near Nungshang village in Kamjong district.
According to a release issued by IGAR (South), the incident involved Zamni, aged 33, and Manyo, aged 29, both residents of Nungshang village, who sustained serious injuries following a collision between their motorcycle and a pickup vehicle, roughly two kilometres from the village.
Local residents immediately transported the injured men to the Assam Rifles medical centre, recognising the critical nature of their condition.
Upon arrival, the Assam Rifles medical team responded with exemplary promptness, delivering emergency care and stabilising both patients.
The actions of the personnel were marked by outstanding professionalism and efficiency, which proved pivotal in mitigating the victims' trauma and preventing further complications.
Family members and villagers conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for their swift response and invaluable support during the crisis.
The intervention has further strengthened the bond of trust between the security forces and the local population.
