Anti-drug/liquor poster campaign held

Imphal, July 18 2025: Konthoujam Kangjeibung Mapal Chaokhat Khongthang Lup, Konthoujam Union Club, Kangjeibung Mapal, CADA and Patsoi police station jointly organised a poster campaign against drug and liquor abuse in and around Konthoujam Kangjeibung on Friday.

In a release, CADA information & publicity secretary L Brojen Angomcha informed that the poster campaign is conducted as a part of a resolution adopted during one day awareness programme on drugs and liquor addiction held on June 29 .

The poster campaign was attended by Lup president Konthoujam Angoubi, Club president Kayenpaibam Budhachandra and CADA Women Affairs secretary Indira Leima Konthoujam.

The poster campaign prohibited sale and consumption of liquor in three localities namely Konthoujam Nongraobung Leikai, Mayai Leikai and Awang Leikai.
