Imphal, July 15 2025: A two-day first national conference on the topic "Role of Techno Science and Social Science in Transforming Life and Society towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals" organised by Manipur University in collaboration with MASTEC (Manipur Science and Technology Council) and PIMSA (Pan India Manipur Scientist and Academician Association) will commence on Wednesday at MU conference hall.

Addressing media persons in this regard at Manipur Press Club, here, on Tuesday, PIMSA general secretary Dr L Robindro said that the national conference will coincide with the second foundation day of PIMSA which falls on Wednesday.

The conference aims to benefit the MSc and research students.

He also said that the national conference will have seven technical sessions, paper presentations and discussions on various topics including Water Sustainability: Water Management, Purification, Water re-use, Groundwater Conservation, Ecosystem Restoration, Heritage Preservation, Green Energy and Transport: Electric and Sustainable Mobility, Renewal Energy, Hydrogen Innovation, Drone Solution, Agriculture and Food: Sustainable Farming, Food Security, Bio-Diversity, Bio-Remedy, Livelihood Development, health and well Being: Medicine, Cancer Treatment, Women's Health, Population Studies and Radiology Applications.
