Imphal, July 11 2025: Bar Council of Manipur (BCM) organised a one-day legal education programme at the office of All Manipur Lady Advocates' Association (AM-LAA), Cheirap Court Complex, Uripok, on Friday.

The programme was attended by BCM chairman Sarangthem Brajabihari Singh as chief guest, AMLAA president Chanambam Kiranbala Chanu as president and All Manipur Bar Association president Chakpram Bimolchandra Singh as guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, BCM Legal Aid and Legal Education Committee chairman Koijam Modhusudon explained that the programme was organised to educate new lawyers under the council regarding the professional ethics, attire and court decorum.

He informed that taking into account challenges faced in maintaining rule of law in the state, such educational programmes are being conducted in each district, with the most recent ones being held in Bishnupur and Thoubal districts.
