Imphal, July 08 2025:
Pristine H2O, a new packaged drinking water, has been formally launched at Sneha Cottage near the Northern Gate of Manipur University on Monday.
The launch function of Pristine H2O was attended by Heirok MLA Th Radheshyam as chief guest, NHPC Loktak Project retired chief engineer Maibam Lalmani Singh as president and Khwairamband Ima Keithel Joint Coordinating Committee for Peace convener Laishram Mema as guest of honour.
Speaking at the event, MLA Radheshyam appreciated the initiative taken by Pristine H2O to provide clean drinking water to the public in a packaged form.
Stressing the importance of clean drinking water, the MLA noted that more than 70 percent of health issues are caused by the consumption of quality-compromised water.
On the other hand, Laishram Mema emphasised that the availability of safe, non-toxic drinking water is vital for the displaced families living in relief camps across Manipur.
The ongoing crisis in the state has severely affected women and children and ensuring access to safe water to the suffering people is of utmost importance, she stressed.
