CAU VC promotes Northeast farmers in Delhi meet

Imphal, June 24 2025: Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, vice-chancellor Dr Anupam Mishra attended the meeting of Viksit Bharat Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan held Tuesday at Subramaniam Hall, NASC Complex, New Delhi.

He highlighted the role of northeast farmers at the meeting which was chaired,by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Representing North East India, Dr Anupam Mishra elaborated the significant contributions of farmers of the northeast region under the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, particularly in empowering the farmers of the region through technology backstopping.

He also shared innovative practices identified among farmers and provided feedback for policy makers aimed at strengthening agricultural development in the North East region.
