Assam Rifles assists injured farmer

Medical professionals of Assam Rifles on Thursday provided critical first aid to a 21-year-old villager who suffered severe injury while farming at Shangshak village.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the farmer from Shangshak Khunao village sustained deep laceration and significant blood loss after accidentally striking his own leg with a spade in the fields.
Local residents acted swiftly to bring him to the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital for urgent care.
The medical staff responded with exemplary professionalism, expertly controlling the bleeding and administering essential wound care.
Their timely intervention was instrumental in preventing further complications and immediately stabilising the injured farmer's condition, the PRO informed.
