Dept of Posts rolls out APT application

Imphal, July 28 2025: Department of Posts announced the rollout of the next generation APT application, marking a major leap forward in the journey towards digital excellence and nation building.

A release issued by Department of Posts, North East Circle Manipur Division stated that as part of the transformative initiative, the upgraded system will be implemented across all post offices in Manipur Division on August 04 .

To enable a seamless and secure transition to this advanced digital platform, a planned downtime has been scheduled on August 2 .

On this day, no public transactions will be carried out at the post offices to facilitate data migration, system validations, and configuration processes, ensuring that the new system goes live smoothly and efficiently.

The APT application is designed to offer an enhance user experience, faster service delivery, and a more customer-friendly interface, reflecting their unwavering commitment to delivering smarter, efficient, and future ready postal operations, the release explained.

Urging customers to plan their visits in advance and bear with the post office concerned during the brief interruption, the release expressed regret Over inconveniences caused and explained that these steps are being taken up for delivering better, faster, and more digitally empowered services to every citizen.
