Dental camp, ABHA awareness prog held

Thoubal, June 25 2025: As part of the one-year commemoration of Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam's tenure as Member of Parliament for Inner Manipur, a free dental camp cum awareness programme on Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card was held at Lilong Arapti Maning Leikai community hall on Wednesday.

The event was jointly organised by Arapti Maning Leikai Youth Development Association and Arapti Maning Leikai Meira Paibi Lup, in collaboration with JNIMS Department of Public Health Dentistry, State Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) Manipur and the Oja Bimol Akoijam Fan Club.

Dr Bimol also attended the programme, led a tree plantation drive and distributed fruit-bearing tree saplings to the public as part of the environmental initiative.

Around 300 people availed services of the free dental camp, while ABHA accounts were also opened on the spot to promote digital access to healthcare services.
