Vyas Puja, workshop on Pharmacology Education held

Imphal, July 22 2025: Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, Manipur Prant and Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) jointly organised Vyas Puja and one-day workshop on 'Need for reforming pharmacology education in India: A syllabus perspective as per NEP 2022' at the DMU conference hall on Tuesday with the host varsity's vice chancellor Prof W Chandbabu Singh as chief guest, DM College of Commerce principal Prof Kh Rajen as president, and RSS Manipur Prant 'sangchalak' Prof Th Naranbabu as guest of honour.

DMU former VC Prof Rajmuhon Singh, BSM Manipur president Prof Meinam Binota Devi, Dr Ngangom Gunindro Singh of RIMS Department of Pharmacology, Babina Group of Companies chairman Dr Thangjam Dhabali, BSM Manipur Prant secretary and DM College of Commerce associate professor Dr Chithung Mary Thomas and BSM joint secretary Dr Lukram Dhanachandra Singh also attended the event among others.

As a part of Vyas Puja, DM College of Science Zoology Department former head Prof Kh Samungou Singh, Manipur University (MU) English Department retired professor Kunjo Singh, Manipur University of Culture Manipuri Department assistant professor Dr Makhonmani Mongsatabam and National Commission of Women former member Soso Shaiza were honoured.
