Imphal, May 18 2025: French automobile company Citroen opened its first La Maison Citroen showroom at Mishita Citroen, Canchipur on Sunday and showcased three of its car models for the state market.

Inaugurating the showroom, Keirao MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei said that the entry of the brand would not only introduce French automobiles to the state but also create employment opportunities and boost the local economy.

He expressed confidence that the arrival of Citroen in the region would contribute positively to growth and consumer choice.

Speaking at the event, Mishita Citroen general manager Th Jasobanta informed that the company's car models are well suited to the road conditions in the state.

He said that the vehicles are equipped with excellent features, offer comfort, and are reasonably priced, which make them accessible to a wide range of customers.

He expressed hope that the people of the state would embrace Citroen cars.

Citroen vehicles are known for blending practicality, comfort, and technology.

Their models come With advanced safety systems, intuitive technology, and stylish features such as panoramic sunroofs and Airbump panels, making them popular choices across different segments.
