SCPC hands over second instalment to Foundation

Imphal, August 17 2025: Following up on launch of free coaching camp for NEET/JEE aspirants, Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC) has announced that the second instalment of Rs 1.5 lakh has been handed over to Nachom Edu Foundation.

A release issued by office of MLA of 11-Sagolband AC recalled that an advance of Rs 1 lakh was paid in July, and as assured, 20 aspiring students, including those from among the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), are presently being sponsored under this initiative.

The sponsorship is being extended from the salary of Sagolband MLA RK Imo Singh, who further assured that instalment payments will continue in the coming months as well.

The MLA reiterated that if the initiative proves to be a success, efforts will be made to ensure the programme continues next year, with the hope of seeing these young aspirants succeed in their examinations.
