Imphal, May 15 2025: The Special Commando Unit, Khabeisoi arrested a drug peddler along with six vials of heroin from his residence at Khabeisoi Sabal Leikai this morning.

The arrested person has been identified as Md Abdullah Khan (46).According to sources, the Special Commando Unit received a tip-off at 10.40 am about contraband drugs hidden at Md Abdullah Khan's house.

After formalities, the team raided the residence and found six vials of heroin in Abdullah's pants pocket during a body search.

Accordingly, the heroin was seized by preparing a seizure memo in the presence of two independent witnesses at around 11.20 am.

During preliminary questioning, Abdullah admitted to running an illegal drug business, selling contraband to teenagers and users.

He was subsequently arrested and handed over to Heingang police station after necessary formalities were completed.
