Patriots' Day observed by HLTTA

Imphal, August 13 2025: The Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur, observed Patriots' Day 2025 at Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom, Imphal West.

The event was attended by Huidrom Premkumar Singh, president of the association; Heikrujam Cha Babu, secretary; and Thiyam Shantiku-mar Luwangcha, president of the Bishnupur District Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, along with artists, players, and officials.

Participants paid tribute to the patriots who laid down their lives in the Anglo-Manipuri War of 1891, with a Thang-Ta salutation and floral tribute.

In his remarks, Huidrom Premkumar urged younger generations to draw inspiration from the courage and unity of the forefathers and to work towards preserving the heritage and values they fought for.
