Thoubal, July 08 2025: The 11-day Kang (Rath Yatra) festival organised by Guru Ibungo Sharma Sangeet Vidyalaya at B Surmangol Sharma Mandop, Tentha Heibung, concluded on Tuesday with a vibrant cultural presentation.

The valedictory programme included a performance of 'Nupa Palla' and Sankirtana, adding a spiritual and traditional touch to the festivities.

The event was attended by Tentha Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee chairperson Moirangthem Subol as the chief guest, along with 20 other members of Tentha GP.

Speaking on the occasion, Vidyalaya secretary B Gomati, expressed elation on being part of the Kang festival celebrations after around two years.

The secretary also extended heartfelt wishes, and expressed optimism that the festival would inspire hope and foster peace in strife-torn Manipur.
