APAAR, Aadhaar updates from Jul 7 in IE

Imphal, July 03 2025:
Imphal East deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam has notified all concerned that the status of Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID generation of students in the district, for both government and private schools, and Aaadhar enrolment along with mandatory biometric update (upon reaching 5 and 15 years of age) of below 18 years age group are low and needs targeted approach to saturate it.
In a notification issued Wednesday, Dr Nivedita ordered that Aadhaar enrolment and generation along with eKYC of the eligible ICDS Project beneficiaries is also to be saturated.
In this regard, a special camp to facilitate the students for Aadhaar enrolment/corrections/updation required and to ensure 100 per cent APAAR generation of all students and also for enrolment and generation along with eKYC of eligible ICDS Project beneficiaries on or before July 31 is being scheduled from July 9, it informed.
The DC directed zonal education officers (ZEO) Zone-II and DPO (ICDS), Imphal East for submission of weekly report of the progress every Friday.
All parents, teachers, and Anganwadi workers of Imphal East district have also been advised to extend full co-operation for achieving 100 per cent saturation.
