Assam Rifles organises science exhibition

Imphal, July 31 2025: The Assam Rifles organised a science exhibition at Assam Rifles Public School, Kakching, on Thursday, celebrating the talent, creativity, and ingenuity of students and providing a platform designed to spark scientific curiosity and promote hands-on learning.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the exhibition brought together budding innovators from classes VI to IX, who presented an impressive array of thematic and functional models.

Projects ranged from renewable energy prototypes and sustainable solutions to smart automation systems and community-focused inventions, each demonstrating technical competence, imaginative thinking, and the ability to apply classroom theory to real-world challenges, said the PRO in a release.

Students demonstrated their models, engaging in insightful discussions with visitors and peers.

The opportunity not only enriched their scientific knowledge but also helped them hone essential soft skills, such as public speaking, confidence and teamwork.

Distinguished guests from the Assam Rifles, alongside the school's dedicated faculty commended the students' remarkable efforts and praised the institution's enduring commitment to holistic education.

Warm interactions with the young innovators inspired the participants, with dignitaries applauding their enthusiasm and the school's proactive approach to nurturing future-ready citizens, the release added.
