Deeksharambh: Student Induction programme held at Moirang College

Bishnupur, July 24 2025: A Student Induction programme titled "Deeksharambh", as part of the National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, was held at Moirang College, aiming to welcome and orient new students to the academic and campus environment.

The programme organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Moirang College, was attended by Principal Moirang College, N Joy Singh, Academic Officer Moirang College, Moirang S Deven Singh, Associate Professor Mathematics, P Ibomcha Singh and Coordinator IQAC Moirang College, Dr Ph Raju Singh as presidium members.

Dr Ph Raju, Coordinator IQAC Moirang College stated that the induction programme aimed to help freshers get familiar with the college system, its culture, and opportunities.

He emphasized that such initiatives play a key role in motivating students and guiding them towards making the college a better place of learning.

Principal N Joy urged the students to take full advantage of the various academic co-curricular, and extracurricular activities offered by the college, including NSS, NCC, and other value-added courses.

He further encourages students to stay focused on their goals while assuring them of continued support and guidance from the faculty and administration.
