Science motivational programme begins

Imphal, June 19 2025: A 3-day science motivational programme for talented school students of Manipur organised by Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC) commenced from Thursday at MASTEC training hall, Takyelpat.

According to a MASTEC release, the programme aims at facilitating the students explore the exciting world of science and motivate them to take up science as a career.

Altogether, 30 class IX students from 15 schools of the state are taking part in the programme.

The inaugural programme was attended by Manipur University Physics Department former professor Sh Dorendrajit Singh and MASTEC director Dr Kh Rakesh among others as presidium members.

During the programme, various activities including visits to various scientific institutions, lecture sessions, hands on experiments, interaction with distinguished scientists, etc., will be carried out, it added.
