MLA Ibomcha inspects flood-hit areas in Lamlai

Imphal, August 17 2025: Lamlai MLA Kh Ibomcha on Sunday inspected areas damaged by the recent floods, including the stretch from Itam Nungoi community hall to Lai Iril, which was affected by overflowing water.

He also visited other locations within the constituency that remain at risk of flooding.

The inspection was joined by Water Re sources Department officials, including EE Rojita, AE Johnson, AE Yaifaba, and SO Nongdrekhomba of Imphal East division, along with members of Itam Nungoi Village Development Committee, local clubs, and Meira Paibi representatives.

During the tour, MLA Ibomcha directed the department officials to take up immediate and necessary measures to address the damages and prevent further flooding.
