Anti-ragging pledge taken at JNIMS

Imphal, August 13 2025: As part of the Anti-Ragging Day and Anti-Ragging Week observance from August 12 to 18 with the directive from National Medical Commission, anti-ragging pledge was administered to medical students and professional at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences on Wednesday.

The pledge was led by Anti-Raging Committee JNIMS chairperson, director professor Usharani.

Apart from director Usharani, the anti-ragging pledge administered at the Council Hall of the institute was joined by JNIMS Dental College principal, medical superintendent (MS) of JNIMS hospital, deputy MS, dean, Anti-Raging Committee (ARC) JNIMS members, faculties and students.

Before the pledge, the JNIMS director, dean, principal and ARC members joined a webinar conducted by Indian Medical Council.
