Indian Army organises art and craft competition

Imphal, July 13 2024: As part of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti celebrations, Indian Army organised an Art and Craft competition for children at P Moulding village.

Around 120 children aged five and above enthusiastically participated in the competition.

The theme of the competition was 'Kargil Vijay Diwas: Martyrdom and Nationalism' and it encouraged the children to express their understanding and respect for the sacrifices made by soldiers during the Kargil War.

The event was aimed at educating young participants about the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the spirit of nationalism.

The event culminated with prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded prizes in various age categories.
