JCI Imphal Iconics constructs toilet block at MG Avenue

Imphal, July 11 2025: A new toilet block constructed by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Imphal Iconics as part of its continuing community development programme at MG Avenue in the heart of Imphal city has been inaugurated and handed over to public by Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykisan on Friday.

After inaugurating the toilet block for both males and females, Kh Joykisan said, he as a member of Imphal Iconics, has been joining hands with the charitable organisation in reaching out to the poor and unfortunate children and elderly people on many occasions in the past.

A toilet block constructed by the organisation at Kangjabi Leirak had already been handed over to people and the new toilet block at the crowded MG Avenue will help in easing problems of the people, he said adding that the organisation plans to construct more toilet blocks in other areas.

JCI Imphal Iconics president Dipika Jain also said that the toilet block was constructed for public convenience and thanked Bazar community for extending help in opening a toilet block at crowded MG Avenue area.

She added the organisation will continue to take up welfare activities for the people in future.
