Body search of female students peeves FESOK

Imphal, July 08 2025:
Federal Students' Organisation Kangleipak (FESOK) has demanded suitable action against alleged excessive conduct by some teachers of Manipur University towards female students.
In a release, FESOK education & library secretary Soibam Davit termed as unwarranted male teachers of the flying squad checking blazers worn by female students from behind without prior intimation during the BEd 2nd semester examination conducted by the MU on July 4 .
He suggested that teacher members of the flying squads to strictly adhere to the exam rules and regulations, and cautioned that the Organisation will not remain silent if such incidents are repeated.
Davit also appealed to the teachers to take appropriate measures to prevent recurrence of such acts, and further urged students to refrain from using unfair means during
examinations.
