Senapati, July 06 2025:
B Garland, a young woman from the Poumai Naga tribe of Khongdei Shimphung, has made history by becoming the first from her community to secure an international job placement in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The milestone was made possible through Emporium Skills Training Institute, Mount Everest College, Senapati, which provided her with training in hospitality.
According to the institute, Garland joined the programme as a fresher soon after completing her board exams.
Remarkably, within just two months of intensive training, she secured a position at one of Bahrain's prestigious luxury international hotel chains - even before completing the course.
The Emporium team expressed immense pride in her achievement, stating it serves as an inspiration region.
"We are extremely proud of her and wish her continued success in her future endeavours," the institute said.
Notably, Emporium Skills Training Institute has so far placed around 100 candidates in various metro cities across India in aviation, hospitality, and cruise line sectors.
The institute is now inviting applications for its July 2025 batch for a two month fast-track combined course, promising 100 per cent job placement assistance through campus recruitment.
Candidates who have passed Class 10 and are between 18 to 30 years of age are eligible to apply.
