Imphal, July 20 2025: In a major political development, 10 people from Kakching Khunou and Sugnu Assembly Constituency joined the Manipur People's Party (MPP) on Sunday.

The new MPP supporters were accorded a warm welcome and felicitated with the party shawl during a programme held at the party's conference hall in Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

The programme was graced by MPP general secretary (administration) Dr K Muktasan and other senior members of the party, said a release issued by MPP .

Seven individuals from Kakching Khunou Lamyeng Ching, one from Kakching Khunou Ngaikhong Leikai, one from Kakching Khunou Tarung Leikai and one from Kakching Khunou Thongam joined the party today.
