Thoubal, July 19 2025: A one-day financial literacy camp under a Three-Month Saturation Campaign on Financial Inclusion Schemes at Gram Panchayat Level was organised by Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB), Khekman branch in collaboration with LDM Thoubal district, district administration, Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) and Crisil Foundation at Khekman Zilla Keithel on Saturday.

The programme was attended by Khekman Gram Panchayat caretaker pradhan Samurailakpam Baleshwar Sharma, Punjab and Sind Bank Khekman Branch manager Leo Runder, branch officers Bala Thongam and SN Putou along with other staff members.

During the camp, awareness was raised on 'do's and don'ts' of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) account opening, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), re-KYC of all SB accounts, digital fraud prevention and unclaimed deposits along with facilities provided by banks.

The camp was also attended by members of various village level federations (VLFs) of Khekman GP under Lilong CD Block.

Punjab and Sind Bank Khekman branch also distributed loan sanction letters to VLFs at the event.
