DC chairs meeting of Bishnupur DH society

Bishnupur, July 15 2025: Deputy commissioner (DC) Pooja Elangbam chaired the general body meeting of the Bishnupur District Hospital Management Society at the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex, here, on Tuesday.

As a part of the meeting discussions focused on upgrade of the district hospital, and its infrastructure, detailed power-point presentation of the annual report and financial statements spanning 2022 to June 2025, along with updates on OPD/IPD, OT/ICU services, and other key hospital functions by officials concerned.

After thorough revision of the points highlighted, the DC assured full support from the district administration in the improvement efforts, emphasising the importance of enhancing public health services.

Pooja also shared strategies for the efficient use and maintenance of hospital properties and urged all stakeholders to work in close coordination for efficient operation of the hospital.

The meeting was also attended by committee members including elected representatives, Bishnupur SDO, chief medical officer, hospital's medical superintendent, PRDA secretary, Lions Club, Bishnupur president, DFWO and social workers, among others.
